Working together
What each step includes.
Each step has a fixed price and a written output. You take the next one or you don’t.
Outside eyes on the page, and on the numbers behind it.
Outside eyes on a page you have been staring at too long. One page: the one most of your paid traffic lands on. I go through it on a desktop and on a phone, watch heatmaps and session recordings of your real visitors, and put the first screen next to the ads that send them. Then the economics: what a customer is worth to you, what you can afford to pay for one, and where between the click and the sale the money goes.
What you get
- A written list of where the page loses people, ranked by how much paid traffic each point touches.
- For each one, what I would change and why.
- A break-even target in writing, so every change afterwards is measured against something.
- A walkthrough of it with you. You keep the report.
What I need
- The page. Nothing gets changed at this stage.
- Your ad and analytics numbers, as access or as an export.
- A conversation about how you think it is going.
The changes, in order, measured one at a time.
We agree the number the sprint is for: conversion rate on the page, cost per lead, take-rate on the upsell, revenue per visitor. Then I work through the ranked list from the audit, one change at a time, so we always know what moved it.
What I do
- Rewrite the copy that needs it, starting with the first screen.
- Restructure the page: what comes first, what is cut, where the proof sits, where the button goes.
- Change what is offered and in what order, where the numbers say the offer is the leak.
- Tell whoever runs your ads what the page now promises, so the two agree.
What stays yours
- The ad account. I do not touch it.
- Every login. Changes go live when you say so.
- The before and after, on the same traffic.
The next page, then the next.
After the first sprint, the same method moves down the funnel: the checkout, the upsell, the follow-up emails, the page after the webinar. One thing at a time, measured against the traffic you already buy. No percentage of ad spend or sales.
Who this is for, and who it isn’t, is on the home page. The short version: you are already paying for traffic, it lands on a page you can change, and you want the page fixed rather than the ads run.
Bring the page and the last thirty days of numbers.
A free twenty-minute sanity check, not a pitch. I read the page with you and tell you where I would start. You decide whether an audit is worth $2k to you.
